High Temperatures. Are they fatal to blood shrimps?

I remember reading somewhere that temperatures in excess of 79F will be detrimental and possibly kill the shrimp. Is that true? I was thinking of getting a couple but my tank skyrockets to 84F in the summer. Thanks.

Many of the marine shrimp that we keep in the reef aquaria routinely live in the tropix, where the average daily temp is from 82 to 85F, occasionally as high as 90F in lagoons. Mine have lived in 83 to 84 F water for quite some time now, just my opinion, but I think they will do fine...

blood, or fire shrimps come in a couple of flavors.... the ones from sri lanka are the ones that prefer cooler water temps... 74 or so. this is closer to what they are in natualy. the other comes from elsewhere.... I misremember now, but anyway, likes warmer water. BTW, the sri lankas are the ones that are vivid red, the others tend to be a bit more brick red.
