The only noticeable difference appears to be the texture, it looks that your crab appears to have growths or some type of slime on him....

its a hairy crab, dont know the scientific name(and dont care) i got a shipload of em on my florida aquacultured rock. they get really big and even uglier ,and will start a murderous rampage sooner or later. i have slowly lowered my hand into the tank(extremely slow at night with a flashlight) and grabbed them. be careful they can dispell a pincher to get away...they make great wall trophies.

definitely not a decorator crab, looks like he needs to be relegated to the sump!

try doing a search for Pilumnus fissifrons and related indopacific spp. may be a related Caribbean spp of hairy crab, but appears to be either this crab or a related spp.

Hmm I got a crab similar to that with my live rock from florida.... Had to take my tank apart to get him out, but now he lives in the top of a cd spindle where he's harmless. I'll post a pic of him as soon as I can. His list of victoms include:
Black Perc (was sick and weak)
Queen Conch
Several different types of snails
A large brittlestar (ate him piece by piece.....grrr)
Almost got my carpet anemone to, but I drew the line and relocated him. Also happy to report that it looks like one of my black percs has taken a liking to it.
