coral shimp loses limbs.
While transferring livestock from my 58 gal.to new 110.I tried to net my Banded coral shimp. In the tussel I accidently ripped both his pinchers off. Man they came off easy. Anyway, I think they will grow back,,eventually. Am I correct.
Now it should be a fair fight between him and the cleaner shimp.

I have had similiar experiences with my banded shrimp. If they survive, the pinchers will return next time it molts. The first time they reappear mine were not as large as they were before losing them, but the subsequent molts provided bigger pinchers.
These are their main defenses other than swimming away fast, so I hope nothing else bothers him.
Good luck and hope for the best.
