ID please

This critter has all of a sudden showed up on a star polyp. It moves, and the polyps retract obviously when it moves by. Is it bad? Good? I am guessing some type of anenomae.

have no idea, but if it is an anemone then it has a very week sting. i would have thought anything that the tentacles would touch would be drawn in. hmmm.

Do you have any anemone's in your tank. I maybe wrong but it doesn't look like your typical glass anemone or aptasia or anemonea mojano. I am curious for an idea myself. If you do have an anemone maybe it split and this is one of its clones. Curious.

No anenomaes. I did have a pink tip back in September but it had vanished. It was about 3.5 inches in diameter and since then I have removed all the rock and inspected each piece and it disappeared. This unidentified one is white. Here is a pic of the MIA anenomae.

Is this a new piece of rock and maybe this is a hitch hiker? I looks like from the picture a small condy or something that looks like one. I hope someone can I.D. it cause my curiousity is really piqued.

It is a hitch hiker. Got several corals for Christmas.

Then you may have picked up a regular anemone which would be a cool hitchhiker. I got some polyps from the LFS that where put into their Live Rock tank and got them for the price of live rock and the only hitchhikers I have gotten are a mithrax crab, atrea snail, and a lettuce nudibranch. If this is a regular anemone that is cool.

are star polyps immune to the sting of anemones? i am just wondering why the star polyps are not wincing in pain from the tentacles.
