Hi Steve,
First of all, WELCOME to TRT!!!
Given your lighting, I would not recommend an anemone or any photosynthetic animals at this time. Your clown does not need an anemone in order to be happy- it will pick its own place to host.
Anemones are delicate and need mature established tanks, high lighting, meaty foods and a bit of luck. IF down the road, after researching, you find that you would like to attempt to keep one, a bubble tip (E. quadricolor) is probably the best bet, with captive propagated "clones" available - these have reproduced by fission (dividing themselves) and tend to be about the best suited for captive life. Carpets are more tricky, and they can grow quite large and they can consume your other fishes too.
How long has the tank been running? When you say, ".24" I take it to mean your specific gravity is 1.024? If so, that is a good specific gravity to run for a reef/fowlr tank.
Hope this helps,
Jenn
