Help!!! I recently purchased a white carpet anenome from my lfs and since the day i brought it home, it has gone downhill. It is shrinking and the mouth almost looks like it is "smoking" at times. The poor ol' guy looks awful!!! I got it for my maroon clowns benefit (trying to keep him out of my
bubble coral) but as of today, he wont go near it. The clown is very aggresive, and I have seen him biting at it as he was frolicking in it. Could it be he has somehow wounded it?? I have frogspawn,
green star polyps, 'shrooms, xenia, gorgonians, and bubble coral which all look great. Water is checking out fine, so I am at a loss. I'm wondering if I have enough light for him. I have a 30 gal tank...can someone let me know how much light I should have?? Seems like I get a different answer everytime I go to a lfs. I know I dont have to have an anenome for my clown, but I dont want him "trashing" my other corals, and believe me he does. LOL Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!
