Blue anemone

I had to share this, It's not the best of pictures but I like how blue the anemone is under the actinics. My gold stripe female and white stripe male LOVE it.

Just curious. What other fish do you have in you tank? I'd love to get a blue carpet but I've heard that they are fish magnets.

That's funny you ask what other fish I have, because there is a lone clarki clown that tries to host this anemone but the female maroon scares it off everytime she see's it come close. BUT!!! The clarki will slip in unsuspected like when the big girl is underneath the anemone and just loveeeeeeeee all up on it!!! IT IS SO FUNNY!! The other I have are a regal tang, yellow tang, scooter blennie. Also 2 scarlet cleaner shrimp.

As far as lights go, I have 2 250 w MH and 2 VHO actinics over it, It made its way up half way to the middle of the tank before it was happy with the lighting it wanted to be under. I feed it a whole shrimp every other day or so. Or when I remember to do it!!! I'm not really one of those people that's on a schedule of feeding them.!!!! They get fed when I think they look hungry!!! LOL is that bad?

Oh yea, I've had the anemone for about 2 months.

Hmmm.... Well I guess maybe if the tank is big enough, and the fish stay away from it, it might work. I was dead set on adding a blue carpet to my 80gal when this thread came out,

http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/sh...ghlight=carpet

It changed my mind. Let us know how things go with it. I might change my mind back.

or lose my mind
