Okay...help! heh heh Question for you all who know anything about anenomes. I just happened to sneak a peak in my tank, and there is a type of mucus everywhere! And in this thin strand of mucus, is what looks like tons of eggs! Well, when I looked at my LTA aneonome, (who was swollen earlier), he is somewhat deflated, and the mucus and "eggs" are heaviest there. Do, or can anenome reproduce by eggs? Or is this some weird regurguitation, or is he sick? I would love to know! I took a pic, don't know how help it turned out..so, I hope to get it posted later. Thanks...
Okay...on further examination of the tank, I noticed that my
leather coral, has these little "eggs" in most of its polyps. Could it be that my leather coral spawned? I just ook a pic, but to lazy to alter the size and attach it now..I will do it in the morning... But still..any thoughts would be great! If it is spawning, what does that mean...will there be any new corals since there is no other leather coral like it in the tank? Or am I gonna be the godparent to um...how do you says hundreds...centuplets?! heh heh
