Anemone been through heck!

Tonight I saw my carpet take a trip. I thought he was just moving around. Then an hour later he moved again. Then when I looked for him an hour later he was gone! Then I saw something clogging up one of my small Ph's. I was like, what the heck is that! And there he was. I turned off the powerhead and took off the strainer thingy( I think its a maxijet 1200) and set him on the bottom. I never imagined he could get trapped in that! I contemplated pushing him out of the very small slits he was stuck in, but figured I might do more harm than good
Its been a few hours and I think he's wiggling himself out. I hope he' s okay! I'm not sure what to do about the Phs. I have several of those hooked up to a wavemaker by Redsea. I don't know of any with smaller strainers. Is this a freak occurence or should I try to find different Ph's?

Can you get larger stainers to fit on that pump?

Reefude, I run the maxijet 1200's as well. Jenn had these in her shop so I am not sure what the name is but they were sponge filter attachements that go over the strainer fitting. Made by Maxi-Jet too.

I just had that happen to me 3 days ago. My anenome didnt make it and I dont think Ill be getting a new one anytime soon.

I took mine out of the tank and kept in a seperate tank to make sure he wasnt disintegrating and polluting the water.

Sorry to hear about it and hope your anenomie fairs better than mine did.
