do these have particularly high lighting needs?
what kind are they?
i try to not look much into anemones cause i'm sure i can't keep them so i don't tease myself, but i have to ask.

I'm just going to pop in real quick and warn you to hold off on too many... the vast majority (>90%) of anemones don't survive more than 6 months. I wish you luck - since you're lighting isn't that high, do be sure to feed them.
I hope you've anemone-proofed... not to sound negative, but they are all-too good at finding uncovered powerhead intakes and other dangers.
Good luck,
Danielle

I agree, do not get too many anemones especially with your lighting, 1 is more than enough. Please do your homework on anemones before snatching up a bunch of them, most species are extremely difficult to keep alive over the long run even for the advanced and accomplished marine aquarist. Keep in mind that anemones will wander around and can kill other invertabrates as well as each other.

Anemones are not fun to have at your party; they run around beating everyone up then SLOWLY die in most cases. I would keep one ONLY if it was a tank raised clone/sister and keep it under MH. JMO :-)
Anyway, they look awesome! And, as stated above lots of food will aid for the lack of light.

do anenomes get into JUST powerheads that are on the bottom of the tank? or are they able to get up high into surface mounted powerheads?
also, paul, i noticed in another thread you only paid 3.99 for those? where di you get them so cheap-your work? is that normal price..or did you get a deal cuz you got them at work?

They walk wherever they feel like going - up walls, into overflows, into powerheads, intakes... These are highly mobile creatures and they quite often go places you'd rather not have them. (Like right on the front glass, or behind your rockwork.) And if they aren't happy, they might just detach and blow around the tank awhile.
