Just a heads up for all you shoppers out there. We're seeing a pretty good bit of it in pathology again (time of the year) and several trans-shippers and wholesalers have had to flush their systems out with formalin and/or clorox in the past few weeks. Remember, you can bring it home on fish, rocks, corals, sand, water, hands, nets, bags, - Got it? Even though it doesn't go through a attached to something stage, all it needs is to not dry out.

Are you recommending this for all fish prior to quarantine, just clownfish, or only if symptoms show up during quarantine? Presumably you don't recommend formalin baths for inverts... or do you?

Do you have a reference for the recommended formalin bath protocol?

Formalin/M. green baths work the best. You can use OTC QuickCure. Do the baths every other day for a total of 3-4. Observe fish, start treatment again if that didn't work.
