Sure

Astropyga magnifica

Like all urchins, he's a omnivore. I brought a juv sea hare home to eat some algae in the tank, he jumped on it and overnight the sea hare was completely gone.

jumped huh, one of those high speed cat and mouse things. i figured the sea hare could "outrun" the urchin. unless the urchin feeds at night and follows the slime trail to the sleeping hare.

i guess the question now is, algae or urchin. good thing for you sea hares are in your back yard.

I know, but they are so dang cute I can't get past the feeding to a urchin thing. Plus, we already named him Rabbit - the sea hare that is.

Didn't matter if he did, it's not that bad. BTW ever smell sea hare ink? It the most wonderful clean, perfume smell in this world.
