I still haven't mucked out that skimmer -- I'm goofing off

Newbie question, sorry.
Do they / can they bite, sting, poke, or hurt you?
I thought I read something about a sting. Every since I wonder when I have my hand in the tank.

They can sting/poke but they're not aggressive. Just don't try to pet them.

It IS a kiddie pool LOL They come in handy when switching tanks. I set two of them up in my garage with a few powerheads to keep all the rock, fish and corals alive. Worked out great.
