Clam question

My Tridacna seems to have 2 white stripes on it. It almost seems like it has bleached a bit. Is this possible. It is opening and reacting fine. Although, I am a little concerned about the white stripes. Does anyone have any suggestions or answers to this white stripe situation? I bought the clam 3 weeks ago and noticed it the day after I placed him in the tank. At that time I was running PC's. I have since upgraded to halides.

All right...I'll try to pick up a digital camera today. In the mean time do you have any thoughts on this? You said, "Oh man". That worries me.

Might want to post the clam question to the clam forum, I almost didnt look at this one because it wasn't there (I figure that the ones that post in the General forum are more on the lines of "Lookat my newest acquisition"-types of threads)
