are these eggs?

A week or so ago, there was a small spiral white/translucent mass on the front of my 90. I know if was soft, because I could see it flutter in the current... but it never moved. I was careful to not smear it with the algae magnet.

Anyway, its gone this week, and I've noticed at least three white slug-like things crawling around. The slugs are white - about 1/8" in diameter, and .5" long. They've got two protrusions on their "heads", which could be eye stalks.

My question is... Is (was) this spiral mass a bunch of eggs? If so - are the white slugs the offspring? What are they?

thanks
jj

could you give us a list of any possiblilities. i know it is not cerith or nassarious snails. they do look like some kind of mollusk though. i have not seen any of these in my tank. so it might not also be bumble bee snails or turbo or astrea. i have not seen these deposit eggs in my system yet, so this is just guessing.

so whatcha got in the tank?

i can keep guessing prolly not octopus or squid. could be nautilus thought.

i want hints.

As for snails... I've got turbos, astreas, bumblebees, and perhaps a nassarius or two. Could the babies be any of these?
I'll try to get some macros of the slugs. I'm a bit lazy with the algae scraping, so it might be hard to get a really clear shot.

I've got my doubts about the baby nautilus. Good guess though
