Looks like a normal shroom but looks either bleached from too much light or a big temp spike. It is pretty though

This may help.
It's in the opening of cave and low in tank. So not bleached out.
There are 2 in pic. 1 red , 1 green.
The green one sometimes swell like a sack and is a very pastel yellowy green. You can see thru it.
It has 1/4 " extensions that look like hands that come out all over it.
When it deflates it just gently flaps in the current.
I've looked in several books and all over net and not found another.
There are a couple other green ones in tank but hard to get pic.
If I can borrow better camera will try to get better pic.
Thanks

I agree that it looks like a bleached/damaged discoma. I have a blue mushroom that almost died in a copper contamination about 9 mo. ago, and it is only now starting to regain the blue color. it looks exactly like that but smaller. When/where did you get this specimen?

Looks like a shroom to me as well. I have some hairy green shrooms and the baby shrooms look like that. Here is a pic of one...

Another fellow said he thought they were Actinodiscus or Fuzzy Shroom. Said it is the way they look, much like Big Daves pic.I have found couple more in different spots in tank.

hey cap-
when the baby shrooms drop off, they are real clear like that until they get big enough to get some decent light. These fuzzy/hairy shrooms get fairly large 6"-7". Give them time and they should color up. Mine get good color at about 2"-3" across. HTH
