Please identify me

I have these polyps. Started out with one last year. Now have 4 of them. The gal I got it from has no idea what it is. Has little tiny spikey tentacles the size of a needle all around the outer perimeter. Very pretty green brown yellow. Likes light, when the pic was taken I had raised the light and it started to close up. Have never seen it feed. Anyone any ideas?

Ok, ..

how big is it?

Looks like it could be a clove polyp. I would definately say it's some sort of Zooanthid...

Doubt it's a "clove" polyp after what you posted on it's size... I have some in my nano tank but they are tiny litle things... lol

It is about the size of a 50 cent piece. The babies vary in size from a quarter to a penny when fully open.

I thought about zoanthids but this is large. Slow grower. Has a rubbery type stalk on it not like the type that zoanthids have. I have looked in tons of books and on the net and have not seen anything close to this.

ditto on the Zooanthus spp. ID, there are many many many different species, all have some type of ecological nitch that they occupy, and there are many that have never been formally ID'D OR NAMED (much like corallimorphs).

I think I will call it... ...MINI-VEE!!!

Got an Id from Phistio on Reef Lounge.
This is what he replied and said he had seen these.

Thanks to everyone for their help, I have been searching for a long time.
