chili coral?

I saw one today and was thinking about it but was wandering what light requirments etc.. that they need survive and the pros of cons and how fast they grow. any info is appreciated.

Chili Coral - Alcyonium species
Also known as: Chili Sponge, Strawberry Coral, Encrusting Leather Coral
The Chili Coral has a red, yellow color. It likes to eat filter feeding invert food, brine shrimp, micro-plankton a few times per week, when open. The Alcyonium species is generally peaceful toward other tankmates. Many consider the Alcyonium species a low-maintenance specimen. Has moderate lighting needs. The Chili Sponge, Strawberry Coral, Encrusting Leather Coral requires moderate water flow. Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism. Will extend tentacles at night, so provide space. Place at the bottom of your tank on the sand. Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). The Chili Coral is commonly collected from Indonesia.

Hi Mike,

We had one for about 2 yrs. They can live in the dark, and they are non-photosynthetic so you will want to feed it as Johnny advised. Ours opened up real big at night and stayed closed during the day. It grew somewhat, but not much.
