Am I the only one that feeds polyps shrimp ?

I recently experimented with feeding my star and blue polyps freeze dried shrimp. since i have done so, they have grown by leaps and bounds. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is good or bad, and if anyone else feeds thier soft coral any sort of solid food, as opposed to phytoplankton and such.

I feed all my zooanthids blender mush and Ocean Nutrician Brine Shrimp Plus and it does make them grow like crazy.

My Yellow Polyps and my Sand Polyps love the light but like tasty treats that I drop in their greedy little tentacles.
