trumpet corals, how hard are they to keep???


i like the way trumpet corals look, i believe they are te candycane type what do i need to keep them? lighting,cirulation,additives.

well i currently have:

a 45 gallon w/25 gallon sump, 2x96 watt pc-7100k blue& 6500k white, cpr ps, 2 maxijet mp900, return pump rio 2100, crushed marble substrate

or 4x13 watt pc 6500k, 2x18"no actinic 03 15 watt each, aquaclear 200 for circulation also stores a 25 watt sub heater, one penguin 201? powerhead, 1" puka shell, 2" of sugar size sand over puka shell

i have two tanks only the 10 gallon isn't complete but that is what the trumpet would be going to, i know either way it's going into the "home for battered and abused" not intentionally i'm trying but my retardness outwieghs my smartness

Caulastrea was the first coral we ever bought. They seem to be fairly "forgiving" and I've even seen some do well in tanks with Normal Output lighting (2 x 40 w, 20K & actinic over a 55).

IMO and IME, it would do well in either tank.
