I have a torch, just keep up with regular maintenance and water change, enough light and medium water movement and you should be alright. I have mine under halides near the bottom and it does well. It's in the process of splitting right now. Good calcium also.

My bit of advice would be to place it where the flow and lighting is right and the LEAVE IT ALONE!! People seem to have a hard time with these corals some times. I think they are kind of "touchy" during the acclimation period but then they are rather hardy. Just don't keep moving it and adjusting it and so on. Good luck!

One word of advice, make sure that you don't put any other corals too near the torch. They have some nasty sweeper tentacles and will sting anything within reach.

Ours are near the bottom, along with the hammer under the center brace and gets some flow. My understanding is that they don't like it too fast. As mentioned watch out for those tentacles, once they are expanded and happy leave it there. I have Saki's 250w.

Mine like medium water flow and light. Easy to keep coral that will grow fairly fast. I had a few polyps turn into a softball size coral in a year or so so make sure you give it some growing room.
