Wellsophylia maybe isn't a brain?
...and with a flash, taken this morning...
Wellsophylia
Now I'm reading that the Wellsophylia is not truly a brain coral. If anyone can shed some light on this, Thanks! I can't find anything specific about Wellsophylia in my books or on the Web, except it was TRA Vol I that indicated it's not truly a brain.

Wow, Casey, the first two look just like MY brain! I love the 3rd...we had one just like that for a LONG time, until...well...you know the story in all its gory details...
Love your pics!

Shirley,
Is that your brain on sand???
looks good!!
picked up the blenny today and he's hiding under the rock...also got a pencil urchin and a dozen baha snails...I don't think this new tank was meant to have anything inside it AND have to be scraped also...
Casey nice pics...the red one is really neat...

Hmmm...tall and more narrow, right? You need an eel with a scrubber!

Brain or no brain... I LOVE Wellsophyllias! Here's mine under actinics. It was our second coral ever.
What a cool set of pics!

O-o-oh Wow! Beautiful, Danielle!
What lighting (and how close) do you keep yours?
Ours started to close up tightly after the lights came on this morning, so I moved it to the shadows and it opened up again.
It is on the sand in a 120G under 2 175w MH with 2 VHO actinics.
Thanks,
Shirley
