I was wondering if anyone new if the tentacles that extend out of a candy cane can sting? I have acquired one about a month ago, he is close to finger leather I have. I have noticed on my finger leather on the tips that are close to the candy cane they have a little yellow discolor on them. I have done some research on the candy cane but none of the articles said they could do this. I was wondering from practical experience if anyone has seen this.

I would say yes move the finger

I'd say to move it too. I had a similar situation but the leather was iritating the candy cane. Eventually the CC suffered some tissue loss and died.
