Pagoda cup Question

One LFS told me they recover...one told me if they are dying , there is no turning back..Mine is thinning so much, that the rock it is on is showing through in spots, it doesnt expand, and it has lost all color, it used to be green and purple, now it is pink. I will soon be adding a custom sealife moonlight fixture, the all in one kind. I think it is suffering because of my current light set up..only 60 watts, i will be upgrading to 192 watts. my water is always good, and other inhabitants are thriving..is there any hope for my pagoda? or is it a gonner. thanks for your help.

pagoda's can come back, but they are really, really, really, slow growers. i have one that i lost 99% of it over a year ago. the 7-10 polyps that made have made a base that is 1/8" larger than it was before. they do like a lot of light, so your new lights will help. also make sure your Ca and alk levels are good.

I feed mine when i feed my sun coral. Seems to like brine shrimp and my fish/shrimp/scallop mixture. I would be careful though, if algae starts growing on the face, very difficult for it to overcome it

Just so you know, custom sealife went out of business so you may want to purchase the unit you want or it may not be available.

EDIT: Never mind didn't see your ordered your lights already.
