That is a good lockin coral. Nice addition.
Do you know what type of lighting was it kept under befor you purchased it? Besides the sun
Its just that my lighting is different than the lighting at the LFS that I purchase my corals from. They keep them under the 400W 20k Radiums and I've only got 960Watts VHO. Boy what a difference in color. I've got to get the halides soon!!!!

This was hand picked by My friend who owns and runs the The shark reef. He went to LA and hand picked a bunch of corals.
Here is his site www.thesharkreef.net
Jeff
PS Keep your fingers crossed for me heheh

I thought that might be the source. I'm think of driving over and having a look at his new stuff.

It is beautiful. But you'll have to forgive my newbie ignorance, what is it? Acropora? Although the polyps look bigger than any acropora I've seen.

Stang69, Gordo,
Where exactly is this place? I lived in olympia almost my whole life and have never seen corals like that in any local store! Plus I am taking a drive to Seattle science center next week and was thinking of looking for a few good places. Is this on the way?
