Acclimating Tricolor sps?

I have just purchased a jewel sps tricolor! I am acclimating as told with adding small amounts of tank water ever 5 minutes untilled doubled... then dump 1/2 out and repeat process 2 more times.
?? LFS said to dip the sps before entering my tank? With what?
Here is a picture of my new jewel!

Thanks for any help you can give me!
Dave

Dave he probably meant to dip it in a iodine solution, like Lugols. I don't do that so I can't be of any help as to how.

Do you just acclimate and drop in main tank then?

Don't do as I do! LOL

Looks like that's your only option if you don't have a dip mixed up already.

Thanks, it did take almost 1 and 1/2 hours to acclimate! It seems to be doing fine this morning! Looking at the picture, you can see an acro crab... are they harmful? or benificial?
Thanks again!
