Sick Gorg?
About four days ago, one of our gorgs stopped showing its polyps. Today we noticed that parts of it are turning black. Any ideas what this could be, or how we can help it?
Thanks for any info or advice.
Andrew

Andrew, I thought you were having way too much fun there for a minute!
Anywho, looks like it's shedding it's skin to me. The darker places looks like where it just hasn't started shedding yet.

Hm... It sounds good, but:
All the black spots are facing one direction - they are appearing in a non-random fashion, and
The normal color of the gorg is that beige color. The black spots are new.
If you guys still think it's shedding, I won't worry. It just seemed a little odd. (That's and it's never gone this long without opening up.)

Danielle/Andrew - Andrew/Danielle who is this really? LOL
Hi Danielle
Try taking your finger and giving it a gentle squeeze on the black spots. If it's hard, you're good. If it's soft and mushy, start fraggin.
Also try, blowing on it gently with a baster and see if anything looks loose.

It's back out again... I can't tell if the black spots are still there. I tend to wait-and-see on these things. That, and I"ve been too busy to worry about it much.
Thanks guys!
