Question

I've got em', now what?

OK, as i was looking at the tank today for an hour or two or more, so i like to look at the tank, don't we all. anywho my acro has those tiny bugs. so what is the word out there on them now. are they good, bad indifferent. what do i do about them? they seem to be only on the bright yellow-green acro i have. they do not seem to be on the other ones. they must have arrived on the new frags. ideas, suggestions. all i can see is that the acro is not extending as much as it was, that is how i noticed them.

thanks,

G~

i will try to get a pic, but these things are absolutely tiny. they are like red specs on the acro. when the lights come on again i will try though.

i figured you would get on me after getting on you about no pics.

GOod luck on finding info on those Geoff, They have been debated to death on many boards. I dont think thier is a final verdict on if they are bad or ok.

I have them on some corals and I've concluded that they pose no harm to the corals. At least that's my observation. Even in the pic that Johnny posted you can see that the coral has good polyp extension. If you do a search on TRT you'll find some comments by Horge on them.

Rick-any idea on what to search for? i tried a couple of different strings and got nothing. i was hoping to not have to go through everything that said acro in it.
which acro's do you have them on? i think my yellow-green acro is a bali slimer, are they on yours?

i am a little concerned because the colour of the acro where they are the most prevelant is washed out, and the polyps are not extending.
