Custom CA reactor question

Hi Andy,

I'm in the early planning stages for a cube tank (approx 24" x 24") and one of my requirements is that all my equipment (with the exception of a chiller) must fit completely within the cabinet.

I've been reading very good things about your CA reactors but am concerned with the footprint (single column style). Is it possible to get one made with a smaller footprint? Once again, I'm in the early planning stages, so an off-the-cuff answer is fine. I just want to know whether I should pursue this angle when the time gets a little closer.

Thanks in advance,
JC

The smallest foot pring we have made on a single is 8x10 which includes the pump and all the plumbing on the base. What kind of spacing do you have? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Andy. At this point, I'm not sure exactly how much space I'll have because I'm still trying to decide on the various gadgets I need/want. I'm about 6 months out from the point at which I'll start buying equipment, so I'm just trying to look at all angles. With a 24" x 24" cabinet, I know I'll be pretty tight and I'm trying to fit a refugium in there as well, so the modus operandi right now is small footprint. Having said that, if I can save enough space with the majority of the equipment, a piece with a larger footprint will probably be workable.

I think a big hurdle will be finding/building/buying an sump/refug that fits underneath and meets all my needs. Am I correct in that you build custom sumps? If so, I'm sure I'll be emailing you when I get things a little more nailed down.

Thanks,
JC

Yes, we make custom sumps with built in refugia as well. So we will be able to take care of you. In the next 6 months we may even have some smaller foot print reactors. We are in the development stages for some HOT reactors that can hang on a sump or tank....
