I have a 15 gallon tank, can I get 5 yellow tangs?

Sorry I had to. I knew you were all expecting another of those. I have a real question though. I know (and agree with) the general thoughts out there about tangs needing space. they really need to move around to be what they are and I get that. So here is my question, I have a 180 gallon tank, but it's short. 48" long to be exact. Whenever I ask for any advice on tanks, everyone always just wants to say, oh for a X gallon tank, you need Y, but those opinions are usualy based on "standard" sizes. You should of seen the frustration in asking people about sand - I would say, the bottom is 2'X4' and I want 3" of sand, how many lbs of your sand do I need, and they would say "oh how many gallons, you want 3 lbs of sand per gallon to get 3" inches" or whatever. It was frustrating to say the least.

So yeah, now that my rant is done, my question: Tangs like horizontal space. Is a tank that is only 4 feet long but is almost 4 feet high going to suffice for a tang? If so, any better than others? I'm looking at principly a reef tank but trying to get just one or two larger fish (and hoping that one will be a tang) and a dozen or so little tiny ones (under 3", hopefully more like 1 or 2 inches)with other small things (shrimp, etc) that you have to search for.

I am starting my first Marine tank. 55 gal, live rock and dead coral. I will post pix when I get my 20 post. I want to know what other suggestions might be out there to stock the tank. Here is what I know I want and the order in which i plan to add them. The tank is almost complete with a fishless cycle.

?????? (open to any suggestions)
Ocellaris Clownfish (mated pair perhaps?)
6 Line Wrasse
Flame Angel (he goes last no sooner than 8 mos from the first additions but he is the fish I really really want)

I was considering a goby or other small fish, but anything interesting, invert or fish will be considered. I do not want to over stock the tank, but would like to have a fun community. I know a flame angel could be hit or miss with corals. I will probably want to add more coral so I am trying to keep my options open. The only thing i really need at this point is a protein skimmer. (The Eshoppe psk-100 is rather tempting if anyone has some input or experience) Thanks in advance!

new tank (end of aug), 90 gal mixed reef, lots of l-r and crevices to hide under/in/around, sand bottom... so far, only 3 fish (black/white ocellaris, reg ocellaris, tangaroa goby). down the road, we're gradually adding royal gramma, some type of blenny, coral beauty, purple tang, and mayve in a year or 2 i might try a mandarin...
but every time i go into a lfs, i'm drawn to the gobies. i've heard many goby spp don't tolerate other spp of goby, or that some types are territorial only with closely related spp of goby....
my question is this:
what (if any) spp of goby could i add to the tank considering my fish list and the fact that i have a tangaroa shrimp goby already? would a clown goby be ok? or a yellow watchman? and if i can add a watchman, can i add another pistol shrimp (like a tiger) considering i already have a tiny randall's pistol?
