Hello! Tank is up...looking for advice/input

Hello everyone!

We started setting up our first saltwater tank not quite a year ago. Still very new and learning, but enjoying. A 33 gallon long with 96W actinic and 96 watt 12K CF's. Skilter (which by the way sucks as a skimmer) a biowheel hang on and 2 visi-jets. A lot of rock (not sure weight...bought from someone with a scale that I don't think worked...as supposedly 25 pounds but think much more.) Coral beauty, 6 line wrasse, false percula, dragonnette and a blue damsel. Had a second percula and a cleaner shrimp, but the cat took up a new hobby of fishing

I posted pics in gallery, a couple of starting pics and several from now. I would be very open to any input regarding the tank...both constructive and positive, as we are still learning. Would love to attend a meeting sometime...but a new baby and an hour away so not sure if will be able to work it out.

If anyone knows of a place to get some other corals that would be good for us at a reasonable (fairly cheap) price, please let me know.

Congratulations on your new addiction! It is very fun and challenging at times. Still is! And we have been doing for well...20+ years...Where R U located. We travel alot--we could always stop by and help if we can. EWOF (Exotic World of Fish) in Rochester is really good and great owners and workers there. Good prices and can special order what pretty much anything you want. Good luck and hope to see you at the next meeting...we R not a HUGE group so we all welcome children!

Welcome to TRT & RMMAC. I love the fact that you already have a gallery before your second post! I am the president of RMMAC and I invite you to join us at a meeting. Found it just surfing around as I am starting to look for some soft frags and to learn some more info. Found you guys/gals and was about the closest place to us.

How is the tank going? Still looking for cheap corals? The upcoming RMMAC meeting would be a great place to get something cheap or free.
