Velocity Pump

Well I purchased this pump because I had heard they were quiet running.... SO I installed it yesterday....Since adding it the chiller runs 3 times as much as before.... In looking around it seems the quieter pumps that are water cooled are known for this.... I may be yanking it and putting the Genx70 back on....It was a little loud but didnt cause the chiller to run SOOO much! Is the heating normal ??? Ive got a properly sized incoming line to the pump (only 3 feet long)... basically a straight drop down to the input and the output is equally short.

Don't know, I've never dealt with those pumps, but I can give you a :bump:

gunna let it go a few more days to see...

Probably gunna leave it on for a few days to see how things go....
Heck...Im thinking I could remove my heater as this appears to do just as good of a job

But seriously I may just put it in my 75 live rock curing tank ...That way I wont need a heater and I will get really good flow....All be it over priced flow

Im just suprised that it could make THAT much difference in a 180... I expected MAYBE a degree or half a degree but its raised it 2 degrees all by itself...
