I have a small populaton of red flatworms in my 50G tank, and I have had them for about a year or so now. The tank is not overfed, and it is skimmed well so the population never really gets out of control, just a few of them at the bottom of the front pain of glass is all I ever see.
I don't worry about it,.. They don't bother the coral, and there not multiplying like crazy. With FWE it's been proven that even overdose amounts of 25X reccomended don't harm anything in the tank,.. in the book about quarenteen it reccomends an overdose by about 10X (if memory serves) first strike that way the Flatworms don't get a chance to build a tolerence to it,.. They can.
