snail experts?

I've just gone bare-bottom with my 58 gallon tank, and I was hoping for some recommendations about snail species. I have never seemed to keep snails alive for more than about 6 months, and i am now in need of getting a fresh clean-up crew. What do folks recommend? I've had pretty good success with nerite snails, and bumblebee snails seem to be incredibly hardy in my tank, but i dont know what good they are doing for clean-up. What are the thoughts on cerith, trochus, astrea, nerite, and bumblebee snails and what do each the advantage/disadvantage of each?

I realy like the ceriths mixed with blue leg hermits for a clean-up crew
I would say get some nasarius snail, but they really like to dig into a sand bed

I don't like the astrea/turbo's
I had 1 in my bb frag tank, and it left a trail of poop wherever it went
It drove me nuts
