Good Morning, Sndwave!

28f this morning; a vast improvement over the low teens of the past few days. Upper 40's this afternoon amd sixty-ish by tomorrow.

FishGirl heads to middle TN this morning for her interview for the Governor's School. Afterwards, they're going up to the Opryland Hotel for dinner before heading home. I've attached just a few of the pieces of artwork she's taking as part of her portfolio but there are several others. The pencil sketch is a self-pic; the lady is with pastels; the Cathedral is clay; and the abstract is acrylic and found objects. She will only bring photos of the three-dimensional works as they're too bulky. Exciting times for her.

The buck paid little attention to me except to give me a look every now and then to let me know I was standing in his way. I wasn't about to take on his sharp antlers with my camera.

Have a Superb Saturday, Everybody!

Dick

Good Morning Everyone!! Heres a good morning hang over hug for you platy HUG***
Good luck to Fishgirl today!!! Hi Snd Tony and Chris!! Great pic Dick! I love deer pix but my fav are the ones you post of birds.
Well I couldn't get the yellow wrasse like I wanted. My friend Gello and I called every fish store in NYC no one has one. The guy that ordered them lost his whole order of fish because the company let then sit outside all night in the cold :-(
So now I'm getting cosmetus wrasse (never seen or heard of it before) its reef safe really hardy not aggressive and will do the job. I guess the only prob is it my eat some small snails. The snails I have are really big so I'm hopping he leaves them alone.
Hi Cath!!
Have a Great day Everyone!!

Morning everyone!

Going to clean the carpets today and bang out some honeydos. It is supposed to soar up into the 50's so it will be a nice day to give my car a nice detailing as well.

Hope you guys enjoy the day and survive that hangover.

Morning everyone! Hope you all have a splendid day!

Dick .... another awesome photo from nature!

FishGirl is definitely talented! I too love the Lady in Pastels!!!

I hope my little ones grow up to be that talented art-wise!

Still got my fingers crossed for her and hope the interview goes well. Dinner at the Opryland Hotel sounds like a great way to unwind the nerves afterwards!

Good mawnin', Sndwave, Dick, John, Tony, Chris, Patrick, Butch, Vinnie, Perry, and all of TRT!

Thanks for getting us going, Sndwave

Coffee is going Put your orders in for tea or cocoa!

Hey, Dick - Wow! I don't which of those entries by FishGirl I like the best. Since each are in a different media, going to say I like all of them the best. Love found objects art. Makes me want to touch it, as does the clay cathedral. Yup, that buck looks annoyed at you

Ewwwww..that last one can do it.

Hey, Patrick! OUCH! I'm sorry to hear about the frozen fish in that shipment. What a horror story for those critters. Hope you have a better day today.

Butch - when do you have that surgery?

Perry - you got your momentum going for that list.

So where is George? Of course, he may be posting as I'm scribbling away here

Going to be a pleasant day today, high 50s. Much better than earlier this week. Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

Morning all
3 midnites done, 2 to go

Getting a nice warm up around here this weekend, fota get 50's tomorrow, which is fine with me,which will melt a lot of the snow we got b4. I realize the snow season just started, but i like to pretend it is toward the end and this is the start of it melting away, to make way for spring (no such luck tho)

A lil too wet n soggy outside to do much of anything so i'll prob do some inside stuff today.

Treated the truck to $5 of self serve car wash on the way home, not exactly money well spent cuz i had 10 miles of slushy road to go thru b4 i got home, but at least the patina of salt is washed off, and it looks a lot better now.

Hope everyone has a great day!
