Removing Mud from a sump

Does anyone use the miricle mud? has anyone taken it out? It seems to have lost if's effectivness (according to the directions 1/2 should have been replaced in october )
I'm thinking I'd just like to remove it completely-
Any tips out there to minimize the mess?

Here's what I would do.

Shut off the sump and close the ball valves.

Remove 100% of the water and mud in the sump.

Rinse the sump out really, really well.

Put it back in and fire it back up with some new water.

Whiskey

that's what i'd do too ...I might suspect you'd have to do this once or twice more since the mud is so fine.

Is there anychance of releasing toxins from this mud? Is it like a DSB?
