OK, so much for sleep....

In an effort not to make a fool of myself, again, I've been pouring over all my tomes, and surfing the net until my eyes are completely exhausted. I promise after this post I'll go to bed Alice.

I'm trying to find the name of a fish of which I have no picture other than that in my head. It looks similar to this:

except that it does not appear to have a caudal fin spine of any type, and the body length from head to tail is a little shorter relative to the height from top to bottom. Coloring is similar except that there are electric blue dots on the fish I'm trying to ID.

Please help before I become a complete basket case. Anybody have a key for fish?

Jerel - I don't know.

It's in a clients tank, and he doesn't know what it is either.

It is about 7" long and VERY friendly. While I'm cleaning the tank he is always rubbing up gently against my hand. Very calm fish, and cool looking, good personality.
