Mag 9 Problem - Noisy

I have a Mag 9 that sounds like an "old school bell", for lack of a better term. Just much quieter. Pump sounded like this before and after cleaning. Any ideas?

check to make sure you did not accidentally break the ceramic shaft. i really wish that Mag would use S/S shafts instead of ceramic.

also make sure that the rubber end caps are firmly set onto the shaft.
