GFO pellet media

I want to start to run my po4 reactor. I have been told to start with 2 grams of GFO media per gallon of water.

How many teaspoons are in a gram? i dont have a small scale to measure out the grams?

How does everyone else measure there phosphate media?

Is this media white or rust colored?

IME most pellet media is white and AL based,.. I wouldn't use that stuff.

Depending on the weight of the media different teaspoon amounts equal a gram.
