A.R.M. or aragonite for Calcium Reactor?

I have to recharge My reactor. Is it a plus to use A.R.M. media or is just aragonite just as Good. I just have an endless suply of aragonit and hate to buy ARM if it is not doing anything more.

I have been using the ARM exclusively, as there is an issue if the aragonite is too fine or if there are snail or clam shells in the mix (due to silicate and phosphate content of these items), and the ARM is washed and ready to use.
