10g Top off tank

I have a 10g rubermaid reservoir for my ATO.
it has a top on it, heater and maxjet

Do I need to put in a airstone or a small left over pump to circulate RO/DI water in the reservoir .
My LFS says noo. But u cant believe everything people say.

Nah, I wouldnt bother aerating the water. Does the maxijet just pump water to the display, or does it circulate? If it circulates, I really wouldnt bother, but even so, it's not necessary. RO/DI water will be fine, especially if it's just a few days/weeks between refills.

it doesnt recirculate and i have to refill every 6 days or so
