I have a brand new Oceanic rr58. Has not seen a drop of water. Also have new mag7 and 2 actinic vho bulbs. I would be willing to trade for the right equipment. If interested, please pm me.

Thanks
Scott

Never reqlly wanted a dual 29, that was kind of a joke. I just got thinking and decided that 29 was too small for my mauin display tank. I was thinking that a 58 is the largest tank that only needs 1 halide.

I am guessing he means a luminarc. That would be perfect with one bulb. But obviously 2 sounds better

Epidemic

It was nice meeting you as well, I hope the tank works out for you.

By the way, I was planning on two 250w bulbs, one 10k and one 20k. I was running dual 175's on my little 30 gal up until a month ago and now it has dual 250's. So far everything is happy.

One 10k and one 20 k is so the way to go. I remember Greg Shields little tank he had upstairs and this was the first time I seen a coombo like this, Oh man the drool on my chin. Looks spectacular~

it would be hard to put a Luninarc on a 58. I tried to see of one would fit over mine and it is a no go. Not to mention the light spread for a cool guy is 30" and the tank is 36" wide. Plus the overhang from front to back with a cool guy would be ridiculous. Stick with two 250w or two 400w and call it good. I have two 400w with spiderlight reflectors over mine

2 400s? wow, seems like a lot. I was thinking either 2 250s or 1 400 and as much VHO as I can fit..
WHat kind of spread does a 400 have in a spider reflecer?
