Acro Race

Since I'm posting pics here's one of an acropora racing a tube worm. The acro kept growing around all the tube worms so they kept building out further, the net caster types, and the acro kept growing along till it outgrew most of them and sealed up the end of the tube.

The other shot is just a overall shot of my recovering 120 at the office, still has some hair algae but most of the green is halimeda (sp).

The awsome thing about the snails and tube worms is you can break them off and turn them over then stick them in a crack. New SPS

For some reason I kind of like the look of hair algae in a tank. It looks much more natural. Now only if I can get some to grow.

turn off the skimmer, reduce your flow, add a hunk of frozen salmon, and leave the lights on all night

To be fair I liked some of the algea at first. When it started growing thick and around the corals... I didn't think it was that funny.
I never had any in my FO tank... Not sure if it was the tang or lack of strong lights.
