Neat gadget

General This little valve gadget is a good option for wavemaking/random flow generation in smaller tanks ... say 4 feet long and smaller. It has a single input and water is split between to outlets ... first one and then the other. Be careful not to oversize your feed pump and thus overdrive this unit.

Liked about it Relatively easy to setup and use.

Didn't like Limited to smaller aquarium applications.

Yet another outstanding Tunze product

General This unit was a little trickey to get mounted in the tank. The stock mounting brackets just don't seem to work well on rimmed tanks. I would suggest getting the magenet mounts. Other than that this is a great product. It can be a little trickey getting the pluse tuned in for you tank but once you have it watch out this created almost a 3" wave in a 220g. The overflow actually had to be modified to keep the water lever lower so it does not splash over the ends. There is a adjustment knob to decrease the wave height but who wants a smaller wave.

Buy the magenet mounts and lower the water level and get ready to ronk and roll!!

Liked about it As always you get Tunze Quality.
Nice long cords keep the AC adapter and controller away from the tank
simple to use controller

Didn't like The box is a little large and bulky in the tank but as lone as your 11" away from the box you can hide it with live rock.
I have never liked the stock Tunze mounting brackets. They look like they would be great on a euro rimless tanks. For $500+ Tunze shouild include the magenet mounts.
