It is my work horse. After many years(+5)of use, the impeller shaft wore out. The pump got very noisy after that. I still use the rio 2500 to mix salt water for water changes. |

A great return pump
| General |
I ran this pump for 2 years as a return for mt 75g. It ran great and I had no problems with it. It was also very quiet.
Historically these pumps were prone to fail but the newer "+" models have taken care of that.
I was very pleased with this pump. |
