Perfect little pump
| Installation and Operation |
Like all MAG pumps these are just waiting to be hook up and start moving some water.
Operation was great I actually used this little one externally on my Calcium reactor. I never had a problem I have heard they are prone to leak (all MAG pumps) but I never saw that with this one. I have other MAG pump but have used them internally.

This pump is a little workhorse. I did not expect much because I never intended to buy this pump it just happened to come on my reactor. I'm glad it did because it really is a great little pump

For the floe I would have to say these are a little on the pricy side but MAG pumps are built to run and you get what you pay for.

This was a very tiny pump but performed like one of the big guys.
Super quiet even external I never heard anything from this pump.
Efficient, these pumps do not draw much power.

great utility pump
| Installation and Operation |
This is a very simple pump that can be used for many different applications. One of these that I use when needed for mixing water or other simple projects when other pumps arent available. While not really a pump that's going to be used for a return, it does well on simple jobs or supply water to reactors (though by itself it's probably too strong for a single reactor).

| Performance vs. Expectations |
This pump has performed well, I have never had an issue. It fires up right away and works without adding excessive heat or drawing a lot of power. The flow rate is exactly as advertised from Danner as well.

I have dealt with danner in the past, and each time I call someone answers directly (in lieu of a telephone system). On a different pump, I've had them send me a brand new unit due to wear issues even after a couple years without more than proof of purchase. As I recall, these pumps carry a 3 year warranty, and Danner stands behind them.

It works consistently, pushes a good amount of water, and comes with a good warranty. I've had very good experiences with the danner line of pumps.

About the only negative of this pump is that they don't do well in external applications, though I've seen them advertised to be external pumps at times.

This pump drives my skimmer. I have 2 mag drives in my system. I have no problems with noise or vibration. I would certainly buy another.
