Performance vs. Expectations
I had ordered 2 of these a couple years ago and had nothing but problems. They tend to seize up very quickly with calcium deposits, usually around 3 months. There was also the problem of them not restarting after they lost power, the pumps were freshly clean, no friction on the impeller or shaft; but they would not start up without physically turning over the impeller. I assume it was an issue with the magnets that were used in the impeller; over time they would lose or change their magnetic field and not spin correctly when the windings were energized. I did purchase a set of replacement impellers about a year and a half later; they worked for a while and slowly started to stall at start-up around 6 months later.
There was also the issue of noise, they are not quiet as the name implies. They are also pretty unbalanced and would vibrate quite badly.

Value for money
Initially good value, until the impeller issues arose.

Customer Support
Bad. Tried to contact them on the impeller issue; by phone and email but the issue would always tend to be dropped and I'd have to start over again.

Worth the money
Installation and Operation
Installation of this pump was a bit cumbersome. The feet are very small and not set as I would like.Illustrations and print were very good. The pump at first was very noisy .The cord was a bit rigid and the pump needed to be hard piped to keep it in one place . I had originally piped it with plastic hose. Maintenance is very easy . Just disconnect and flush out

Performance vs. Expectations
As far as my expectations of the pump and how it performed .I would give the pump 5 stars . Once the pump was a bit broke in,it ran like a champ. In fact I think it's performance was better after a month

I think this pump is definitely worth the money. Very affordable for the performance

Customer Support
Customer support was not needed so I can't comment on this .

I like the amount of flow I got from the pump .I also liked the consistent flow at different head pressures. I used this pump on several different conditions .As a fountain on my pond. As a sump pump for my 30 gallon hex tank and as a pool cover pump . Each time the pump performed as it should. I left the pump run in pond for 2 weeks. The pump definitely has a break in period . I also like the fittings on the pump . Great "O" ring !! It's a good size pump too . Fits in just about anywhere

There are a couple things that concern me about the pump.
It's a bit noisy on start up and break in but does quiet down and settle in after a week or so.
The feet on the pump are to small and fall out of the holes . I lost one in the first 2 weeks
I'd also like to see a smoother profile . The top of the pump has louvers which collect debris
I'd like to see the feet lift the pump off the bottom of the sump so it gets better water flow under it
