Good buy!

Installation and Operation Koralia power heads are very simple to install. Out of box any one could assemble this product in a couple minutes without referring to instructions. Very easy to install, just stick it inside your tank at desired spot and place magnetic suction cup on outside tank wall. Then use outside magnet to move pump to the desired area. This pump seems to collect some algae and detritus on the base, take it out and rinse off every once in a while.

Performance vs. Expectations Pump has a nice flow, great for smaller systems. In larger systems, or if you need higher flow, spend the money and upgrade to a 3 or 4. Or just buy 2 Koralia 1's. You can use a directional attachment to direct flow a little more, sort of like a high pressure hose attachment. I prefer to leave the attachment off as it provides a better, wider current without.

Value for money For the money, you can't beat it! Great product and provides adequate water movement for $20-30.

Customer Support I have not had any issues or dealings with customer service.

Liked about it Cheap, Cheap, Cheap. Can't say more. I also really like the magnetic suction cup that allows you to move around the unit inside your tank without sticking your hands in the tank.

Didn't like The cover to the fan does not attach too securly. If you are changing the angle to the power head, often this little cover falls off. Annoying, nothing more. Also, the suction cup is a little too strong. Sometimes to move the unit you have to first stick your hand in the tank and break the suction, then use magnet to move the unit.

Creates good flow for smaller tanks

Installation and Operation Just attach the magnet to the glass.

Performance vs. Expectations Provides great flow for a smaller sized tank.

Value for money Great price for a strong little pump, worth the money.

Liked about it Wider stream of flow than other powerheads, creates flow across the whole tank.

Didn't like Nothing to complain about.

Thoungs on Koralia 1

Installation and Operation Highly simple instructions on the install.

Performance vs. Expectations Delivers great flow. I clean mine form time to time w/ a tooth brush. Due to detris ,and some algae growth is the reason that I clean it via toothbrush.

Value for money Great price in my thoughts due to it only cose me $35.00 usd.

Customer Support I purchase the power head from my lfs(local fish store so unaware of the company customer support. But from this power head I will buy from them again.

Liked about it 1st thing great buy for the buck. 2nd great flow received from the power head. 3rd I like the black color of the powerhead and shape of the powerhead.

Didn't like No complaints!

Perfect Distribution

Installation and Operation Very easy to install and easy to adjust.

Performance vs. Expectations Performs great and has a wider distribution instead of a small sharp stream.

Value for money Great value

Very satisfied, works great in tandom with Koralia

Installation and Operation This was very easy to install, just a magnet that attaches to the back. I have not had any problems with the one that I have, but I will say that the Koralia nano seems to have a higher flow rate for some reason.

Performance vs. Expectations The Koralia 1 seems to have a lower flow rate than the nano.

Liked about it Easy installation, very effective at moving water around, quiet!

Didn't like I noticed that the nano almost has a better flow rate for some reason.

Good little powerhead for the price

General Overall, a great powerhead for the price!

Liked about it I love the magnet/suction cup design - it's a relief to have a powerhead that stays where it should. Koralias use a pretty small amount of electricity, which makes them inexpensive to buy and to run.

Didn't like The little guard that snaps onto the end (to prevent curious fishies from swimming in, I suppose) doesn't secure very well. I often knock it off while I'm working in the tank.

Hydor K1 Power Head

General All together a great power head. It is amazingly easy to set up and get going. I truly recommend the K series of power heads.

Liked about it Wide flow pattern, low power consumption and the ability to direct the flow is awesome. Oh and the price is great for comparable power heads

Didn't like The chatter of the prop when the pump is turned on is kinda loud. It is also a little difficult to put back together once you take it apart to clean.
