Great pump!
| Installation and Operation |
Very easy to install and setup. I purchased the pump used but had no problems setting it up. It did not start at first, I had to open it up and clean out the motor as there was calc buildup from the original owner.

the genx55 met all my expectations.

This pump worked great on my MR2, it runs quiet with a low amount of heat created. It created tons of bubbles and was rock solid for over a year. However I have the pump in my wetroom in the basement so it is hard to hear exactly how loud it is.

Uses a fair amount of power compared to the reeflo series. I moved to a Dart as I added a riser to my MR2 along with a 2nd beckett and wanted to make sure I had enough power.

PCX 55 review
| General |
This is a great pump. I have one running an MR-2 skimmer with duel becketts and have had no issues with about two years continuous use. I would recommend this pump for the price range without hesitation. |

Strong pump at a great price. For the stats this is a great priced external pressure pump.
