Installation and Operation	10 minutes at the most to install the modification kit. Instructions were helpful. No increased time for maintainence compared to how much time you would normally spend on your power head monthly cleaning. I attached the Sure grip attachment instead of the kit with the pole due to my tank set up and I was limited to only placing it on the front glass on the left or the rear glass on the right. If I had the option of using a clip over the side of the aquarium that would be best, but a canopy may limit this.
Performance vs. Expectations	Yes, the water flow is INSANE. 10X the water flow is what is described on the box, this seems accurate although I have not tested it.
Value for money	You can start saving big money on electricity for a large tank by taking out other pumps because this modification kit will make them unnecessary.

Liked about it	Great increase in water flow, no increase in power usage, a guard is present around the intake which has prevented any invert or fish from entering... although a few mushrooms that have broken free of their attachment site have taken a ride through the propeller.
Didn't like	The water flow is very aggressive, I had a to rearrange my tank accordingly. It is a little large when placed in the tank. It would be great if this technology could be used with a return from a sump/fuge.

Installation and Operation	Simple to install just remove the old MJ cover and impeller and install the supplied one. I thing that the new shroud could fet a little better. I actually get some vibration from mine and I had to shim it. They say these are nor controllable but I'll tell you I have been controlling mine for over two years not and it's still going strong.
Performance vs. Expectations	I love this MOD. So much flow, very low power and super quiet for me. And yes I have to say it's controllable only because I have been doing ti for two years and counting. Lots of flow and the flow is very wide. These do have a tendency to suck in air so do not place them too high in the tank. They can get a little bulk but with some strategic placement you can easily hide them
Value for money	They are super cheap and just awesome about $125 each you cannot go wrong.
Customer Support	Never had a problem

Liked about it	FLOW FLOW FLOW need I say more. It's super cheap and easy to install. I am able to control them
Didn't like	The should could be made to fit just a little tighter.

Installation and Operation	Will take some time to install the mod kit, however even the least handy person (like myself) should be able to get it up and running in less than 20 minutes. Instructions were very helpful.
Performance vs. Expectations	Replaces the sharp laminar flow with a very strong, turbulant flow. Literally produces 10-15x the flow rate of the MJ 1200, so placement should be carefully determined and you may need some trial and error runs to find the best position.
Value for money	Would recommend the mod kit for larger, longer tanks and for anyone that is running a MJ currently -- for the money it is a nice upgrade.

Liked about it	Adds turbulant flow, is fairly inexpensive and makes a case for less PH/equipment in the tank
Didn't like	A 10-15x flow increase will damage coral, blow sand around and possibly disrupt aquascaping if the PH is not securely and carefully positioned in your tank
